Students rotate through stations with basketballs, tetherballs, jump ropes, and other outdoor toys so everyone has something that fits their comfort level — team games, partner play, or independent movement. I've seen students who usually sit out join in because there's finally an activity that feels safe and fun for them. One of my favorite moments was watching a student who often struggles with peers offer to teach someone how to jump rope and then celebrate when they got their first successful jump.
