Children in 1st grade math predict, extend, and create patterns. My students will have fun counting, adding and patterning with the Market Math Hands-On Learning Center! The adorable apples will be great for the whole class or small groups. First graders will transfer patterns from one medium to another, describe pattern rules, identify and generate patterns based on real-life situations, and explore number patterns. I want to make it easy to provide daily math practice by counting and using numbers on a daily calendar and practicing essential math skills. The calendar will allow us to introduce a different activity each day. The Magna Tiles will give my students a fun way to explore geometry concepts while they build!
