Nothing replaces the feeling of holding your favorite book! While reading online is fun nothing replaces the feeling of holding your favorite book. The literacy center and headphones will allow each student the opportunity to enjoy sitting and listening to a story of their choosing. I want the children in my class to feel that same comfort when they sit down to listen to stories read to them on the CD Player. Many of my students are English Language Learners and would benefit greatly from listening to fluent readers. My children who are proficient in English also improve their fluency and intonation as they listen to read-along stories. I also need general supplies to help with classroom organization. We need the hooks for the students backpacks and coats. The dry erase markers are for the students use. I have a class set of whiteboards to use them on but I need replacement markers for informative assessments during math.
