Having an i-pad in the classroom will not only make reading and writing more interesting and exciting, it will allow my students access to technology they might not be able to access outside the classroom. Students are expected to be technology savvy at an earlier age as the world around them gets more "wired" every year. The educational benefits of this technology are almost endless. This technology will allow us to take advantage of the many apps that focus on reading fluency and comprehension which in turn will allow them to excel in other subjects. This tablet will also aid with math and science lessons.
