Having an in-class kindle is going to be a game changer as students can now have access to even more books than what we have in our library. \r\nThe air purifier has cut down on airborne illnesses. While I cannot give direct credit to it for better attendance, I can say I have felt better in class with it on. Because I have a double blocked class there are some students who lose focus easily because they are hungry and cannot wait for lunch. These have been a great tool to help. Keep them focused and succeed with their assignments.\r\nOur next step in the classroom is continuing with an explanatory writing unit where students are identifying the qualities of a Survivor and using textual evidence to support those ideas because of the improved organization and access to materials.
