Many of my students are undergoing mental health struggles that affect their functioning personally, at school, and at home. With the help of the counselors and social worker, these workbooks, art materials, fidget toys, posters, and furniture in this project will help them become the best versions of themselves. These materials will help improve their mental health, their friendships, and how they cope with uncomfortable emotions, including anxiety, depression, and anger. The resources within the workbooks will help provide structure to their often messy and confusing thoughts and feelings. The art therapy materials will additionally provide a creative outlet to be able to cope with their emotions productively and practice new skills.
