During our writing block, we've been using the Handwriting Without Tears routines daily, and the consistency has made a big difference. I'm seeing students slow down, start letters in the right place, and actually take pride in how their work looks. One moment that stuck with me was a student who usually rushes through writing carefully forming a full sentence and then going back to check it on their own before sharing it. That kind of ownership is new for them.\r\n\r\nWe've also been using the tangram and block sets during centers and as a warm-up before writing. It's been a simple way to build fine-motor control and focus without it feeling like \"extra work.\" Students are more settled when they come to the table, and I can see the connection carry over into their handwriting. Next, we're building toward writing longer sentences and short pieces, and I'm expecting to see that same care and confidence continue to grow as they apply these skills across the day.","fullyFundedDate":1771343829330,"projectUrl":"project/building-strong-writers-through-structur/10084479/","projectTitle":"Building Strong Writers Through Structured Handwriting and Fine-Motor Practice","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Petrofsky","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10178439"},{"teacherId":4187905,"projectId":9331702,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks for your generous support in helping fund headphones for our classroom.
