As of the moment, we only have one laptop that my class shares. Our class utilizes a curriculum that is big on technology. Books, worksheets, activities and educational games can all be accessed in our interactive library. IEP and academic goals will be a little harder to achieve with a limited access to technology. Through this project, frustration of my non-verbal kids will be assuaged and those who are high functioning will be given more opportunities to learn as they will have access to myriad of resources that we have available online. Those who are severely handicapped will not only learn how to communicate, but participate and interact as well in group activities. We plan to utilize the Amazon Fire Tablets both for academic use and communication.
