Our performance in KDKA earned the team a grant to assist with continuing to purchase supplies to support the team! \r\n\r\nTo kick off the season this year, we have been practicing using the trivia games, assigning topics to players and delivering questions for practice utilizing the resources you shared with us!\r\n\r\nThe shelves utilized to house the materials even. became a learning experience for students while they worked through the assembly instructions and assembled (and reassembled) their first piece of furniture. That excitement carried directly into deeper focus and collaboration during the activity.\r\n\r\nStudents will use the data they collected to refine mathematical models, analyze sources of experimental error, and present their findings in written lab reports. We will also extend the lesson by exploring how projectile motion applies to real-world scenarios in engineering and sports science.
