I have been teaching students Physics for 16 years and telling them that I am preparing them for the field of engineering. I am passionate about getting kids excited about science, engineering, and education. Although the principles of physics apply to all aspects of life, I have never taken any engineering courses. Mark Rober runs a month-long Creative Engineering course where I will be taught principles of mechanical and electrical engineering to create three personal builds. Taking this course will make me build exciting projects and allow me to tell the story of how the build came together in a really engaging way. The engineering design process will be implemented in my classroom as students will make a creative build throughout the school year.
