My students are so wonderful and talented. They are brilliant future film makers. They are 9th through 12th grade students who come into the classroom on their own time after school, on weekends, and over the summer to work on their projects. They WANT to learn. This is their passion. They produce a daily announcement show and a weekly variety show. They also record the school events such as the musical, play, graduation etc. We fund raise for all of our equipment. The school only has so much money to go around, and we still need a lot to upgrade the studio into the digital age. The students need professional cameras, lights, microphones and more. I owe it to them to teach them using equipment that is actually being used in the industry, so they can hit the ground running in college or in the industry.
