I teach Zoology (11/12 grade), Anatomy & Physiology (11/12 grade), and Biology (9th grade). I am hoping to receive two inexpensive microscopes that can be connected to computers or monitors so the students share what they have found and I can guide them to see more specific things. It is very hard to point out tiny structures by trying to describe where to look on a slide. One of the scopes has a lens for viewing larger structures and one is for viewing microscopic structures. These microscopes will open a whole new world for the students. In Zoology and Anatomy, I can guide them much more easily by pointing out structures during dissections. In Human Anatomy, we can easily identify tissues and special cells during histology lessons. In Biology, they can observe and share many cell structures and microscopic organisms with each other.
