Being able to have a sharpened pencil on hand and not have to search for one has been EPIC for them! Learning to being completely organized has not been an easy task for some of them, but each day of using the organization tools is starting to pay off not only in saving time, but it is also bringing confidence. \r\n\r\n The magic boards were a big hit! My students love to use them during math to solve their math problems. They LOVE being my able to have a place that is cozy and comfortable. The atmosphere is so inviting and allows students a place to interact as well as isolate when needed. Many of the student go to the center during technology time and I always hear them working together and even using the foreign languages to say hello. The calming aspect is perfect for the students that need a calm place to self regulate. We are also learning a lot of American Sign Language using the flash cards and lessons in class.
