The materials i'm asking for will allow for a more calm and educational classroom. Starting with flexible seating, being that I teach first grade COVID has been apart of the students only school experience so far. Creating a classroom where every student's needs are met including seating that helps them with their need to be moving. Next, a fish tank. The soothing sound and visual of a fish tank will be calming and welcoming. We’d also have to opportunity to learn about the fish, their needs, and the responsibility of caring for them. Lastly, OSMO items and games. In my classroom, we do a lot of group work and one on one. Giving students the opportunity to engage in educational games on the iPads while others have one on one and group time with me is more successful.
