Carleton Elementary School. It filled our guidance counselor's office floor to ceiling. It was a true blessing to our students because it helped with several of our events. \r\n\r\nWe conduct Town Halls for our 4th and 5th grade students to celebrate positive classroom behavior every month. We give out snacks to those who earned their points. We also host parent/community engagement events monthly in the evening and used the drinks for those events. We also do schoolwide PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) monthly events and the students who had the most points got snacks and drinks along with extra recess. They were ecstatic. The moment each box arrived, my students were filled with excitement and curiosity, eagerly gathering around to see what new items we had received. Simple things like their favorite snacks Takis, Rice Krispy treats, and Nutri-Grain bars brought huge smiles, while essentials like water, Gatorade, deodorant, tissues, and Lysol wipes helped create a cleaner, healthier space for learning. The addition of pants for both boys and girls has also been incredibly helpful during the cold New Jersey winter, ensuring that students can stay warm and comfortable throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThese resources have become a part of our daily routine. Students know they can grab a snack if they are hungry, which helps them stay focused and engaged during lessons. The school supplies like glue, scissors, and Velcro dots are being used in hands-on projects that make learning more interactive and fun. The books we received have also been added to our classroom library, giving students more opportunities to read and explore new topics independently. Because of your support, my students are learning in a safer, more supportive environment where their basic needs are being met.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these resources to support both academic and personal growth. Having consistent access to food, hygiene products, and supplies allows my students to focus on their goals and fully participate in classroom activities. Also, I am using the disinfected spray to help eliminate the germs. Currently, it is allergy season so my students have been using the box of tissues. Next, the snack bin has been getting filled everyday. Students can grab the different granola bars, apple sauce, and cookies to help stay focus before lunch. Then, my school has a care locker where I was able to restock with female and male deodorant along with adding more pants to the locker. Also, I was able to provide another class with deodorant to help with hygiene. Last, my students enjoyed the muffins on Muffin Day too!
