During center, partner, and independent times the students will have access to these beanbags to move around the room and sit where they like. They will be familiar with the rules and expectations as well. They will give the students a sense of flexibility to make learning a bit more engaging. One of my students loves to stretch out with a book and read. He tells me this is the best way for him to focus. He also said he has a beanbag at home and it a comfortable was for him to sit, read and watch TV. What a great gift this will be for my classroom.
