We have limited seating in a small classroom room. Students need to drag chairs to the library area, computer table, and small group areas. This often disturbs learning and causes problems. Having small stools to keep at the computer table and group areas will eliminate students bumping into each other in the classroom and the noise and disruptions of chair dragging. It will also encourage buddy work and add an alternative to standard school chairs and give students choices. Beanbags in the book area will create a comfortable place to read at free choice and center times. This will encourage more reading in our room!
