The summer months can be a difficult time for many students, as they often lose some of the academic skills they worked so hard to develop during the school year. Your kindness has provided our students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences that make education both exciting and meaningful.\r\n\r\nThe instruments have become an important part of our daily lessons. As students clap rhythms, tap beats, and play along with songs, they are strengthening their letter recognition, learning letter sounds, and developing essential phonemic awareness skills.\r\n\r\nI've watched students who were once hesitant become more confident as they sing alphabet songs, practice beginning sounds, and blend simple words while using the instruments. Learning through music keeps them engaged, improves their listening skills, and helps them retain what they are learning in a fun and memorable way.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, our classroom is filled with joyful learning, laughter, and growing readers.
