Providing each child with their own pair of headphones has helped create a more focused, engaging, and productive classroom where every student has an opportunity to learn and succeed.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest benefits of having headphones for every child is the reduction of classroom noise and distractions. In kindergarten, students are naturally curious, energetic, and excited about learning. When multiple students are using their iPads at the same time, the different sounds from educational programs can become overwhelming. Before having enough headphones, students could easily become distracted by the sounds coming from their classmates' devices. Now, each student can listen to their own learning activities without disturbing others. This has helped create a calmer classroom atmosphere where students can concentrate and complete their assignments more successfully.\r\n\r\nHeadphones have also improved our students' ability to develop important early literacy skills. Many of our kindergarten learning programs focus on letter recognition, letter sounds, phonemic awareness, blending sounds, and identifying sight words.
