I allowed the students to choose their own color cups and they could mix and match anything they wanted. The students also really enjoyed the different textured stickers and some of the students even asked for another sticker to take home. \r\n\r\nI have found that when students feel accepted and recognized in their school and by their teachers, they are able to open their minds enough for learning. It has greatly improved both the students focus and enjoyment.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new light covers and the new seats, they were extremely excited and happy. They have been really good about taking turns with the two chairs and they are enjoying having some flexible seats. The light covers have helped students with having less headaches and have provided a more comfortable environment to learn in and remain engaged and focused.\r\n\r\nThe next steps I would like to take to expand this project in flexible. Seating would be to get some new beanbags at some point and possibly a rolling bookshelf to provide a book nook area.
