Students that cannot sit still benefit from movement and soft things. This helps with their concentration. Overall flexible seating leads to happier students. Happier students want to be in school, which will increase learning. I chose these chairs because I have had the bungee chair in the classroom before. Last year it broke. It was 10 years old and worn out. Students that could not sit still would sit in the chair and not get up for the whole class and participate. They loved it because they could bounce when they needed to move. It did not distract the rest of the class. The grey chair, the teacher next to me had one and the students liked that one because it was soft and calming. Students sat in it and worked, and it had a calming effect. I chose the bean bag chair because my students last year stated that they thought a bean bag chair would be a nice chair to have. They really would like one.
