These materials will help my students by giving them different medias in a memoir that I would like to teach them. Having their own hard copy that is tangible will help with the students who are sensory. Having the audio CD will help students pay more attention to the reading as well as giving them another voice to hear the story from. "The Glass Castle" is a memoir that my students will be able to relate to and will help them become more engaged in reading. My students will also be able to use the text to connect the story they are reading to their own lives. I think this will help my students further their reading comprehension and make school more enjoyable.
