I will be using these mini robots in my future geometry lessons.\r\n\r\nThe students enjoyed using the technology. The mini robots provided an atmosphere for students who are not usually engaged in math to experiment with the math as well as to experiment with coding. \r\n\r\nThe mini robots allowed the students to \"see and control\" what the math was telling them to do. The physical and visual aspects of controlling the robots gave them a sense of being in charge of their learning, allowed students to see their mistakes and correct their misunderstandings, and collaborate and communicate with their partner or small group and teacher.","fullyFundedDate":1754059717453,"projectUrl":"project/building-math-minds-with-bots-a-stem-in/9373726/","projectTitle":"Building Math Minds with Bots: A STEM Integration Project","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Stephens","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10041777_orig.jpg?crop=240,240,x0,y40&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1747926280359","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10041777"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_50998","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":566,"numTeachers":39,"percentFrplEligible":62,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":54,"percentWhite":24,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":12,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"14.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":46.1,"schoolId":50998,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Nettleton Junior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Nettleton Junior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arkansas/nettleton-public-schools/nettleton-junior-high-school/50998"}
