Students are using the supplies to create \"Master Review Guides.\" They are taking the most important diagrams and summaries from throughout the year and mounting them into notebooks. It has been a beautiful moment of reflection as they realize just how much they've learned since August, all while keeping everything neat and organized.\r\n\r\nThe next step is Preparing for the Future. We are using the binders and dividers to archive their best work and essential reference sheets to take home over the summer. These organized binders will serve as a \"Success Toolkit\" they can carry with them into the next grade level. By spending these final weeks organizing their thoughts and materials, my students are ensuring that the progress they made this year isn't lost, but instead becomes the foundation for next year. So many students have to deal with colds and seasonal allergies. Being able to keep them in class without having to send them to the bathroom to blow their nose is great! Students have been able to take great care of thier notebooks by keeping them safe on the shelf using the dividers. Notes are taken for every lesson we have learned this year in their notebooks. The notebooks have been an amazing resource to help keep students organized and such a help in preparing for weekly tests as well as finishing homework accurately. Having them readily available and organized on the shelf has been so much better than having to dig for them in the bottomless pit in their backpack!\r\n\r\nNot only have the notebooks and shelf organizers been helpful, the Magic Erasers and Expo Markers are used almost daily when students are working on white boards together. Instead of traditional worksheets, students work in small groups to play games that require them to read, speak, and listen in Spanish. \r\nOne of my favorite moments happened during a vocabulary review game where students had to describe a word in Spanish while their teammates guessed it.
