As a resource teacher, I work with students who have a variety of learning needs, and having the right materials can make a big difference in helping them feel comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThe book display holders have been a wonderful addition to our classroom. They allow me to display books where students can easily see the covers and choose something that catches their interest. The carpet sweeper has also been a simple but very useful addition. Since students spend time reading, working, and sometimes sitting on the carpet, being able to quickly clean our classroom space helps keep it comfortable and ready for learning. The digital clock has helped students become more aware of our daily schedule and manage their time more independently. The fidget bubblers have been especially helpful for students who benefit from having a quiet sensory tool available. I am incredibly grateful for your generosity and willingness to invest in my students.","fullyFundedDate":1778262169493,"projectUrl":"project/completing-our-classroom/10065110/","projectTitle":"Completing our Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9183137_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748986998660","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9183137"},{"teacherId":9183137,"projectId":10064924,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom and helping provide my resource students with new books! These books are doing so much more than giving my students something enjoyable to read. They give us opportunities to practice important reading skills such as decoding, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension, making connections, identifying key details, and thinking about characters and their experiences. Most importantly, the new texts give my students a chance to practice these skills with books they are actually excited to read.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is a time for students to slow down, choose a book that interests them, and build confidence as readers. During independent reading time, students choose from our classroom library, find a comfortable spot, and read at their own pace. I listen to them read, ask questions about what they are reading, and help them use strategies when they come across something that is challenging. For my resource students, having a positive and successful reading experience is important because reading has not always been easy for them. It has been especially rewarding to see some of my more hesitant readers become excited about choosing a book.","fullyFundedDate":1778262174073,"projectUrl":"project/supporting-reading-growth/10064924/","projectTitle":"Supporting Reading Growth","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Anderson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9183137_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1748986998660","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9183137"},{"teacherId":4621978,"projectId":6693918,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my classroom. My students were so excited to see our new materials being delivered. By far, their favorite thing has been the speed cube set. They are loving the different shape ones and amazed how intricate they are. I have loved having the cell phone holder. We do not have cell phones, but I am able to store our chromebook chargers in them. It makes it very easy to see who has returned their charger and who hasn't. It also has freed up space in the classroom since we are able to hang it on a cabinet. Our beanbag is definitely a must for free reading time. The students love sitting in the beanbag. Without the refill, we would be laying on the ground.
