Each student has a different learning style. It is very common for students at an elementary age and in a special education setting to often have difficulty sitting at a desk for seven hours with the expectation of staying focused. I have students who constantly fidget and have a difficult time staying seated, some more severely than others. We are requesting two balance ball chairs, wobble chairs, and balance cushions that will give my students a variety of unique seating arrangements to best meet their needs. Flexible seating will allow for my students to get their wiggles out while still being able to focus.
