Because of your generosity, I was able to get a new set of classroom chairs perfectly sized for my young preschool students.\r\n\r\nWe begin our classroom day with a large group \"greeting\" time. Students sit in chairs in a semi circle in front of our classroom whiteboard while we do our greeting routine which includes practicing academic skills, singing, connecting with peers and social emotional learning. Both the students and I noticed a big difference in our large group from the very first day using the new chairs. I noticed there was less fidgeting and more participation in the activities. One of my students even commented how he liked that his \"shoes can always touch the ground now!\"\r\n\r\nBeing provided comfortable, child sized seating has made such an impact in my classroom. Now that my students aren't as distracted because of their discomfort, they are more actively participating in what we are doing in class, which has allowed me to incorporate more skills into each lesson. I am looking forward to continuing on this trajectory!","fullyFundedDate":1760042686350,"projectUrl":"project/child-sized-chairs-needed-for-my-special/9651177/","projectTitle":"Child Sized Chairs Needed for My Special Education Preschool Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Amanda","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8727783"},{"teacherId":9745173,"projectId":9203383,"letterContent":"We are so grateful for your generous donation that contributed to the purchase of new toys for our preschool classrooms.
