Kids who struggle with anxiety and ADHD need movement to focus their brains. It is my goal to incorporate flexible seating options in my classroom to help keep kids on task and focused. Wobble chairs will be used for kids that are struggling with not tipping back in their chairs. They will be especially helpful for my student with Autism who finds comfort in the rocking motion. The bouncy bands are for kids who need to move their legs while working quietly at their desks. Movement makes all the difference for students who need help focusing on a task for a long period of time.
