The books I would like to purchase would be used during our Reading Tier II time to further enhance our reading fluency and comprehension. The materials purchased for reading will allow us to have more options for book club groups that will capture the interests of students and will also be books on the student's reading level. It will be wonderful to have new books that aren't falling apart and of interest to the students. The students will have an opportunity to read in small groups, various books of different genres. With the collection of new books, the students will get a lot of practice to enhance their learning. I am confident the art supplies will be of great benefit to my students also! The art will directly fit into working with their social and emotional health. The students get unbelievably happy and JOYFUL when we do art! Incentives are needed to motivate students for reaching their goals and the playground balls will be a HIT for playing outside when we get to have a Brain Break or little recess!
