Laptops often used for the students individualized assignments, assistive technology programs, speech-to-text tools, organizational supports. Ensuring that devices stay charged allows students to consistently access accommodations outlined in their IEPs, complete digital coursework, and participate in online assessments without disruption. Reliable access to charged devices helps maintain instructional momentum and reduces anxiety that can occur when technology unexpectedly fails.\r\n\r\nWhite board markers are used daily to provide clear, visual instruction and reinforce learning concepts. In a special education setting, teachers frequently break down tasks into smaller, manageable steps and model problem-solving strategies visually. Writing directions, vocabulary, math examples, and visual schedules on the board supports students who benefit from structured, explicit instruction. Different colored markers can also be used to highlight key information, differentiate steps in a process, and support visual learners in organizing their thinking. Students also have white board desk tops that they also do sample problems on.\r\n\r\nHeadphones and pencil erasers also play important roles in supporting student success. Headphones allow students to access audio supports such as text-to-speech, instructional videos, and calming music without distracting peers, which is especially helpful for students with attention or sensory needs. Pencil erasers encourage a growth mindset by allowing students to correct mistakes independently and revise their work without frustration. Together, these supplies promote independence, focus, and confidence within a supportive learning environment tailored to meet diverse student needs.","fullyFundedDate":1771352372694,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-necessities/10100503/","projectTitle":"Classroom Necessities","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Russell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2822178_orig.jpg?crop=1805,1805,x789,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1761690120812","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/hhrussell"},{"teacherId":2408039,"projectId":9053672,"letterContent":"The book donation has sparked excitement and growth in our classroom!
