There is a large projected pilot shortage in most of our military services, as well as in the commercial airline industry. Many of our cadets will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship for the AF Chief of Staff Flight Academy. If they are selected, this scholarship will allow them to earn their Private Pilot Certificate during their summer break. This is in an effort to encourage those students to pursue careers in aviation. I am a private pilot and will be using this flight simulator to teach our cadets about the basics of flight. This will include both classroom ground school instruction as well as flight simulator instruction.
