The first graders have been hard at work this year, and thanks to your donation, we have been able to use a fresh, clean rug for collaborative learning. \r\n\r\nThe kids have made use of the rug in all subject areas. They have been working on team tasks in math to further develop their understanding of our math curriculum, reading together, sharing their writing in \"author's chair,\" and doing fun science activities like fossil finds and robotics! The children especially love engaging in free STEM time during inside recess, exploring engineering concepts. The things they build on the carpet are amazing.
