For many of our children, having access to properly fitting sneakers is about much more than footwear- it is about comfort, confidence, inclusion, and readiness to learn. Students who previously came to school wearing worn, damaged, or ill-fitting shoes are now able to participate more comfortably in daily activities, recess, gym, and classroom movement breaks. Seeing the excitement and pride on their faces when receiving new sneakers was truly moving. \r\n\r\nBeyond the physical benefits, this project has also positively impacted our students emotionally and socially. Many of our children face challenges outside of school, and acts of kindness such as this remind them that they are valued, supported, and cared for by people beyond their immediate community.
