The students have enjoyed starting a garden this Year. They have been working so hard on the Garden. It has been an inspiration to them and to other students at the school. We're already starting to see how the garden is becoming a valuable tool for both learning and community building. The students are actively involved in planting, caring for, and observing the growth of various plants, from vegetables to flowers. It's a wonderful hands-on experience that ties into subjects like science, math, and even art.\r\nWhen the students received the items the excitement and energy were so high, and it really set the tone for a year of learning and collaboration! My 6th graders have grown so much during this process. They have learned Responsibility, Team work, and Patience. The Garden has presented challenges that the students had to work together to fix. They had to be patient after all their hard work to wait on the results, and that took learning. We are able to be comfortable and the students are able to move freely in the room. I believe learning should be filled with things that make learning easier. \r\n So many times students don't feel safe or free to dream.
