My class is made up of a group of very smart and energetic, 1st and 2nd grade students. They enjoy using technology and interacting with one another as we learn each day. My students, like many others, learn best when taught in new and exciting ways. Our classroom is a place where students can learn and share their ideas in a safe, caring environment where we support and help each other. My students have various strengths and needs within the classroom, that require innovative teaching strategies that will allow them to master the standards and curriculum. Many of my students do not have access to technology at home, and therefore are only exposed to it at school. Being exposed to skills and concepts on the interactive whiteboard, along with other forms of instruction, will give students the best chance of mastering the skills in all subject areas.
