Honestly, I am sure you would love them too. \r\n\r\nAllow me to share a fun detail: Did you know that when there are two copies of a book available, some students will pair up with a friend so they can each borrow a copy and read the book simultaneously? I'm always happy to see them encouraging and supporting each other's taste in books. \r\n\r\nThis is my fourth year as a school librarian, and I'm thrilled to tell you that my students are reading more and more! With the help of your donations I was able to purchase multiple activities from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) to help my students become and stay more engaged. The laminator and laminating sheets helped me preserve these materials so that I can use them for multiple sessions and for future school years. \r\nThe TPT gift card allowed me to purchase interactive activities that address my student's articulation (sound production), language, and vocabulary goals. I purchased seasonal No Prep cut and paste activities for sound production and vocabulary. My students will also benefit from interactive Boom cards and Book companions that address retelling stories, teaching vocabulary, and comprehension of stories with the use of story boards, and character pictures. These activities allow my students to engage with stories using a multisensory approach that helps them understand and make connections with literary concepts taught in the classroom. \r\nDue to your support my students and I are having even more fun time in speech therapy this year. I also love that I have the freedom to hand it out to our class artists and print coloring sheets. Our school budget is definitely not allowing for \"wants,\" only \"needs\" these days (funnily enough, what we're currently learning about in first grade), but having the extra paper makes it possible.\r\n\r\nWe continue to make use of all the headphones as well.
