The use of an iPad in the speech therapy room will provide my students with an engaging and interactive way to participate in speech therapy sessions. The use of traditional materials (pencil/paper, flashcards, books, etc) paired with technology allows for a multi-modal approach to learning and enhancing language skills. The use of this technology also provides students with limited or no verbal language opportunities to communicate using a voice output device or dynamic pictures to express their wants, needs, and ideas. All students have a voice and having this iPad will increase the opportunities for ALL my students to have their voice (digital or natural) heard by others.

About my class
