Because of your generosity, my 7th grade social studies students now have the organization tools they need to continue learning successfully as we move from digital assignments to paper-based learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new binders, shelves, and labels, many of them were genuinely excited to set up their own systems. What could have felt like a stressful change quickly became something they were ready to tackle together. One of my favorite moments came during a recent history unit when students organized notes, primary source documents, and class activities into their binders for the first time. Instead of worrying about lost papers or confusion, students were confidently flipping to the correct sections, helping one another stay organized, and taking pride in keeping their materials in order.\r\n\r\nThe new classroom organization system has already made a huge difference in our daily routines. The shelves and bookends have helped us create clear spaces for class materials, while the magnetic labels allow students to independently find and return what they need. This structure has helped our classroom feel calm, prepared, and focused during a time of major adjustment.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue using these materials during our upcoming social studies projects, including document analysis activities, interactive notebook assignments, and collaborative research tasks. Your support has provided much more than supplies — it has given my students stability, confidence, and the ability to stay engaged in their learning despite unexpected changes. I've received emails from my students' parents sharing that they no longer have to pay a tutor because IXL has filled the \"tutoring gap\". Parents say, \"thank you\"!\r\n\r\nFinally, your generosity has impacted my students' growth scores on their NWEA tests. NWEA tests are nationally normed online math tests that are given 3 times a year to measure students' math growth and math achievement. IXL has created \"individualized skill practice plans\" for each of my math students based on their NWEA scores. These costume pieces were not just clothing; they were storytelling tools that allowed our students to fully step into their characters and create an authentic middle school setting on stage.\r\n\r\nHow are we using the new resources?\r\nWe are using the costumes as an integral part of our rehearsal process. During a recent run-through, students rehearsed in full costume for the first time. The transformation was immediate — posture changed, voices became more confident, and character choices deepened. One student shared that putting on their letterman jacket helped them finally \"feel like\" their character, which unlocked new comedic timing and physicality in their performance. The costumes have elevated rehearsals from practice to performance-level storytelling.\r\n\r\nHow did students react when they first saw the materials?\r\nThe moment we unveiled everything felt like opening night came early. There were cheers, laughter, and a lot of excited chatter as students sorted through pieces and found the items that matched their roles. The \"silly suit\" in particular brought the house down! More importantly, students felt seen and valued. They understood that people beyond our classroom believed in their work enough to support it, which boosted morale and strengthened their commitment to the production.\r\n\r\nWhat are the next steps?\r\nAs we move toward our next performance dates, students are refining character development, blocking, and ensemble timing while integrating full costumes into technical rehearsals. They are analyzing scenes, giving peer feedback, and problem-solving staging challenges — all while practicing collaboration, communication, creativity, and critical thinking. Beyond this production, these costumes will become part of our growing theater resource collection, supporting future shows and continuing to provide authentic, hands-on learning experiences for years to come.\r\n\r\nYour support has done so much more than provide wardrobe pieces. You have helped thirty PLUS middle school students develop confidence, teamwork, and essential 21st-century skills within a vibrant music theater community.\r\n\r\nWe are deeply grateful.
