Thank you so much for donating to this project! My students and I are truly grateful, as these tools are helping them have better days at school, while the classroom aides and I now have easier days with less stress.\r\nThe resources bought were meant to meet as many students' needs as possible. The weighted butterfly and dog were very helpful for students who needed that weight to help regulate their bodies. The gel letters and shapes helped students learn while at the same time meeting their fidget needs. Some students enjoyed learning as they put the number puzzles together. The more artistic ones took delight in drawing with the MarbleTick. The Calming Tubs helped calm others, while students learned about different textures with the Sensory Hedgehog. There was something for every student. \r\nStudents see these tools and they are happy, as they think it's play time. But we are also able to utilize them to teach letters, reading and spelling, numbers, shapes, colors, as well as art, as they play with them. \r\nThank you so much for your donation that is helping students and teacher have a good and happy day at school everyday!","fullyFundedDate":1746488074426,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-tools-equals-a-good-day/9192031/","projectTitle":"Sensory Tools Equals A Good Day","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Oragwam","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7107552_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1664409311521","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7107552"},{"teacherId":7107552,"projectId":8705553,"letterContent":"The Magic Learning and Play Carpet that you generously provided has taken learning to a whole new level in my classroom, and I have proofs! First of all, both students and staff were excited when the carpet arrived. My classroom looks more colorful now.\r\nLearning the alphabets, letter and beginning sounds is now much more fun for my students as they are not only able to watch and learn from the screen, but have fun learning as they are able to follow along by hopping, sitting, or lying on the letters. Also, the carpet acts as a quick reference for them whenever they need to remember the sequence, beginning letter or sound. \r\nAs you know, reading is the foundation for learning. This resource is equipping my students with the much needed reading skills. Like Aladdin's magic carpet, this alphabet rug is helping them in many ways - they learn, play and relax on this one carpet. What's more, this learning carpet will not only serve these current set of students, but many more in the future. Hopefully, they too will have similar and probably even better learning experiences from using it.\r\nMy students are grateful and their little hearts are so thankful.
