In our varied needs classroom, we will put our resources to good use! Our classroom has special considerations from hard of hearing to sensory deficits, and we need a variety of tools to teach each child in the individual way that they learn. Below is a breakdown of how we intend to use the items we have asked for: Fire 7 Tablet and the subsequent cases are to introduce our students to technology, and allow for another medium of learning basic such as letter tracing, etc. Sensory Sand Ultimate Set, Sand Table, and Sand Toy Set will all be used for tactile and sensory needs. Baby Banz Earmuffs Infant Hearing Protection is for our "Quiet Corner" space for students who need a low-stimulation area Yoovi Early Learning Basic Life Skills Learn to Dress Boards will be useful to practice ties, zippers, and other fine motor skills. The 3-in-1 timer that vibrates, alarms, and flashes may be our most useful tool this year! We have three students who will be hard of hearing, and we will need them to be able to know when a task is over. The Mini Tabletop Chalkboard Signs will be used with the chalk and chalk holders we requested, as well as wet paintbrushes to trace letters, numbers, and simple shapes. We requested a Dry Erase Monthly Calendar Set for our classroom to organize IEP meetings, teacher events, so my two aids are able to input as well. Our request for the Key Education Alphabet will be key in helping us learn to communicate with our hard of hearing students. Learning Resources Helping Hands Fine Motor Tool Set and Mr Potato Head will all be used to learn basic skills like self-care, parts of the body, and small movement skills. Thank you for your support!
