The chargers were kept in an easy-to-access area so students could power up quickly. This alone made a huge difference, as students no longer had dead devices.\r\n\r\nSnacks and candy were available during class periods for prizes, or when students simply needed a little extra boost to stay focused. While these may seem like small things, they helped students stay engaged. Having tissues and hand sanitizer available also helped students, it cause less need to leave the classroom. \r\n\r\nOverall, these materials helped create a more supportive and welcoming learning environment.
