Thankfully the first two families are about to fly away to pursue their dreams! The students were so captivated watching them every day through the windows. Someone posted facts about ducks on the doorway and I believe the impact was much higher than I could post here. These are only tidbits of info I observed. I am grateful we are able to provide a safe and nutritious early life for these nesting ducks and the miracle of the natural world was front and center in our city students life. They love being able to independently access whatever story or song list they want without having to ask for adult assistance. The variety of stories available is amazing, and the students are still figuring out their favorites. This has quickly become their favorite place to be! Due to some items not being available, we had to substitute items from our order. One of the things we chose was a bubble lamp. This has been a game-changer in our quiet corner. My students love retreating to the quiet corner and being mesmerized by the fish floating up and down in the bubbles and the changing colors of the lamp.
