My new rug will help my students have a clean space during instructional time and center time. Some activities that will be done on the carpet will include: think-pair-share with their elbow partner, STEM activities with blocks, puzzles, reading games with the alphabet carpet trim, Legos, playhouse, book reading, and allow us to watch educational videos on our smartboard. The squares on my rug will give my students an assigned spot on the carpet to keep them engaged and focused on the lessons. This procedure will aid in my classroom management.
