In the Dual Language program, we do most of our learning in stations. Our brains make more connections when we are having fun and referencing things that we are familiar with. The Math Folder Game Library is perfect for our stations. It includes the content that will be on the state exams but is in a format that will help students understand the "why" behind their learning goals. As Dual Language learners, these scholars also need exposure to a variety of Language Arts resources. By allowing them to use multiple senses to practice language, they will be able to become completely fluent. Using Word Work activities helps students see, hear, write, draw, speak, and act out the components of language. Lastly, items such as the Storage Bins, Dry-Erase Pockets, and Cool Colors seating will help us maximize our learning. We will be able to organize our bags of manipulatives and station activities so we can access them quickly on a daily basis.
