When the boxes arrived, the excitement in my students faces was amazing! Thanks to you, our 5th-grade classroom has transformed into a true community of readers.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, students are now rushing to grab the small pillows to create comfortable, cozy nooks around the room. It is heartwarming to see them settled in, reading independently or sharing a story with a partner. The high-interest nonfiction books have been a game-changer; I am already seeing an increase in their reading stamina and comprehension because they are genuinely interested in the topics they are exploring like current athletes and historical and popular destinations in the world.\r\n\r\nThe fidgets, reading highlighters, and calming tools have provided the necessary support for students who need a little extra help maintaining focus. These tools allow them to stay engaged with their texts for longer periods. Perhaps most importantly, because the class is now so engaged in independent reading, I am able to pull small groups of struggling readers for targeted instruction without interruption.\r\n\r\nFinally, the new picture books have become the highlight of our \"Book a Day\" read-aloud program. There were cheers, big smiles, and so many questions about when we could start using everything!\r\n\r\nThe Splash reading games have quickly become a class favorite. My 2nd graders absolutely love them, and they beg to play every chance they get. These games have transformed reading practice into something joyful and engaging. Students who used to feel hesitant or frustrated during reading time are now eagerly participating, practicing skills again and again without even realizing how hard they are working. The hands-on, interactive nature of the games has helped build confidence, strengthen reading skills, and foster collaboration among classmates.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating floor chairs have also made a huge difference.
