We now have basic stage lights and the kids can actually be seen when they are downstage. Courtesy of a grant from the Missouri Arts Council, we are doing a workshop of Mean Girls Junior. My students have been assembling and starting to work with the lights and the light board in order to make the show work. \r\n\r\nOur past productions have only had track lighting available and would only light a small area of the auditorium. This donation actually allows me to have theatre technicians who are working on lighting design and are able to discuss intensity and duration to help bring the story to life!\r\n\r\nYour donation has provided an after school outlet for ten kids who seemed lost and has gotten them excited about the world of backstage theatre.
