The rug has also created a welcoming space where we can gather together for read-alouds, class discussions, and small-group learning.\r\n\r\nOne special moment has been watching my students use the new manipulatives during our math lessons. Instead of simply hearing about a math concept, they are able to build, move, sort, and explain their thinking using hands-on materials.
