The funding of our project ensured that the children have enough playdough for the entire school year. The playdough came in a few shipments and each time a new package arrived the children were so excited to see what was in the box and the new colors. The smiles on their faces was priceless.\r\n\r\nWorking and playing with playdough is a favorite activity with the children in my class and is chosen daily during the work period. When working with the playdough one popular thing to do is make a birthday cake for a friend and then sing Happy Birthday. They also enjoy using the dough pushers and pretend to make spaghetti or roll the dough to make pancakes and cookies. While working with the playdough the children also gained communication skills and developing peer friendships. They are interested in what their friends are doing and sharing the experience with them. When I see the smiles on the children's faces and hear their conversations when working with the playdough it fills me with gratitude to know that donors like you helped to make it possible.","fullyFundedDate":1755713082038,"projectUrl":"project/fun-with-play-dough/9291800/","projectTitle":"Fun With Play Dough","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Francis","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8189146"},{"teacherId":8968441,"projectId":9466252,"letterContent":"It means so much to me that you chose to donate to my classroom. A new classroom can be overwhelming for preschool aged children with special needs. These have been a huge hit!! While it is difficult to determine whether my students are making the connections to the books yet, the repeated use of these materials will surely build those connections.
