I am a preschool special education with eager 3, 4, and 5 year old learners. My classroom is the first school experience for many of my students. The students I work with are very active and love to explore. Many are nonverbal and are learning ways to functionally express their wants and needs. Our days are structured and predictable, with many visuals and supports to help students follow the daily routine and be successful. The learners in my classroom enjoy hands on learning and play! They keep all of us on the staff busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. I consider myself lucky to work with such wonderful children and to be a part of their journey!
