Our first two weeks of school the students in all grade got to experience the joy of using Boomwhackers! These silly instruments allow the class to work as a team creating complex music, but with only one part to play. It is a great instrument for a diverse level of students in a single class as well.\r\n\r\nThe buckets have helped make the transition of playing glockenspiels quick. Not only that, they help put the instrument at a more comfortable playing level. In grades 3-5 as well as choir, the glockenspiels are regularly used in creating music, and are in need of repair. Thankfully, the tools requested have already been helpful in fixing the MANY instruments used. \r\n\r\nFinally, a class of 5th graders has begun the process of reviving our garden. The garden bed had been sitting without attendance for a couple years and need new watering lines. The students have started with the seedlings and will be transplanting the young plants into the garden bed. They also had the opportunity to learn a plethora of new vocabulary terms, while reviewing terms that were familiar but not regularly used.\r\n\r\nWe loved seeing the students so engaged with their novel, which wouldn't have been possible without your support!
