I will use these materials to develop speech-language skills for my diverse learners. Having books and materials that target specific sounds and language goals will help me achieve this with my students. Reading and being read helps students with literacy and expands their minds. Having a story read by a real person and being able to see the book makes a big difference to many students. Play therapy is an integral part of students' learning. Many of my students need physical materials in order to touch, feel and experience what is being taught. With these materials, I can help the students with speech sounds and language goals such as answering Wh questions, retelling, and reasoning.
